Hi, I'm Will, the founder of Fox Designs.
Based near Newmarket, Cambridgeshire and working across the surrounding counties, I specialise in the planning permission stage for residential design that is practical, personal, and tailored to your lifestyle without overcomplicating the process.
As a sole designer I work closely with you to understand your vision and bring it to life with a focus on functional, client-centred design. With over 7 years experience in the industry, I offer guidance and share ideas, whilst creating designs that suit your needs, style, and budget.

At Fox Designs, I guide clients through feasibility, initial sketches, internal layouts and planning support, whilst making the process straightforward, enjoyable and cost-effective.
By focusing exclusively on the planning-stage design, I’m able to offer a streamlined service at competitive rates. This allows clients to secure well-prepared planning drawings without paying for technical stage expertise until it’s required. When the project moves beyond the planning stage, the project information is passed to a technical-stage architectural design consultant, helping to avoid duplicated work and fees.

1. FREE INITIAL
CONSULTATION
We discuss your ideas, budget and any site constraints to understand your brief and advise on feasibility, planning considerations and the best route forward. I provide a no obligation quotation tailored to your project.
2. PLANNING STAGE
I take measurements, develop the design and prepare the drawings to your specification. I create and submit documents for your planning application if required, liaising with the local authority throughout the process.
3. BUILDING REGULATIONS
Construction drawings and Building Control coordination are provided by another architectural consultancy. I can introduce a consultant I regularly work with to carry this stage forward.
4. READY TO BUILD
Following the Building Regulations stage, the trusted architectural design consultancy will prepare the final technical drawings and documentation required for builder pricing and construction.
